Here are some of the most common questions we receive regarding our policies at Parkway Driving School. We strive to provide clear and concise answers to help you understand our procedures and ensure a smooth learning experience.

What are the requirements for course completion?

To successfully complete the MTO-approved BDE program at Parkway Driving School, you must complete 20 hours of online classroom instruction, 10 hours of in-car lessons with an MTO-licensed instructor, and all required home or workbook assignments. Completion must occur within 12 months of your start date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept e-Transfer, debit, and other payment methods as listed on our registration page for your convenience. Full or partial payment is required to confirm your registration.

What are my responsibilities as a student?

As a student, you are expected to arrive on time for each lesson, bring a valid Ontario G1 licence, follow all instructor directions and road safety rules, refrain from alcohol, drugs, or distractions during training, and treat instructors, vehicles, and property with respect.

How does Parkway Driving School accommodate students with disabilities?

Parkway Driving School complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and provides reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities. Please notify us of any accessibility needs prior to starting your course so we can best assist you.

What is the cancellation policy for in-car lessons?

For in-car lessons, you must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late fee. This allows us to offer the slot to another student.

How does Parkway Driving School ensure safety during lessons?

All our instructors are MTO-licensed and professionally trained. Our school vehicles are insured, equipped with dual controls, and checked before every lesson. Lessons may be postponed in unsafe weather conditions.

How do I file a complaint or dispute?

If you have any concerns, please email us at Parkwayontario@gmail.com. We will respond within 5 business days and aim to resolve the issue within 15 business days. If unresolved, you may contact the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario for further review.
